Senior forward Kody Novinska of Rice Lake has been "Mr.Hockey" for the state of Wisconsin.
Novinska was named the states top high school hockey player at an awards banquet in Madison last night.
The Rice Lake star had an outstanding season, totaling 69 points in 25 games, with 29 goals and 40 assists. He is also the Warriors all-time leading scorer with 228 points, 103 goals and 125 assists.
This is the second straight year that a player from Northwest Wisconsin has won the award. Last year Eau Claire Memorial Goalie Saxton Soley was also named "Mr.Hockey".
