Sportscene 13 for Thursday, December 20th

Snow didn't stop the basketball action on SportScene 13. On the boy's side, Colfax topped their rivals from Glenwood City 67-34. In girl's action, Fall Creek beat McDonell 51-40 to take sole possession of 2nd place in the Cloverbelt West, while Amery got a nice road win at Menomonie 41-34. Click here to see all the action.

Monday girl's basketball action on SportScene 13 as Immanuel Lutheran fell to Durand in close game 51-50, while in Menomonie, Altoona won their 3rd game in 4 days as they topped the Mustangs 48-42. Click here to see the highlights!

SportScene 13 for Saturday, December 15th

A busy day on the hardwood on SportScene 13. Start in high school boy's basketball action, where Rice Lake improved their record to 6-0 with a win over Altoona. On the girl's side, Altoona got some revenge as they beat Rice Lake, while Chippewa Falls defeated New Richmond. SportScene13 for Friday, December 14th, a busy night of prep basketball action. Starting Rice Lake, where an early season battle for the top spot in the Big Rivers Conference between Eau Claire North and Rice Lake. Eau Claire Regis boys and girls basketball preview

The Eau Claire Regis Ramblers are off to a 2-3 start overall but last Saturday they showed the teams potential with a 44-41 win over the then previously unbeaten Colfax. The lady Ramblers are are off to a 3-1 start this season, coming off a win over Cadott on Tuesday. They are 2-0 in Cloverbelt play.

Eau Claire North girls basketball shows their versatility

The Huskies are off to a 3-1 start including a 33-point rout over Menomonie last Friday night. North will be in search of a non-conference win tonight when they travel to Superior. Coach Michelle Peplinski, now in her fourth-year at the helm, says she's impressed with her team's versatility.

SportScene 13 for Saturday, December 1st

A great day of hoops action as WIAC teams held their conference openers. The Blugolds had mixed results as the men lost to La Crosse but the women rallied to top the Eagles. On the ice, in an exciting contest, UW-Eau Claire suffered their first loss of the season to Stevens Point. All this plus high school basketball and hockey, right here on SportScene 13!

SportScene 13 for Saturday, November 24th

A busy day of sports action as we start on the ice where UW-Eau Claire stayed unbeaten with a 12-4 win over Concordia(WI). While Eau Claire Memorial fell to Superior 5-1 in the finals of the River City Meltdown tournament. ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Ledbeter leads the way

The Somerset Spartans play tomorrow at 7pm in the Division 4 state title game in Madison. This week's Gordy's Athlete of the Week features their quarterback Tyler Ledbeter who does a lot more than just score touchdowns.

Regis, Somerset football teams punch their tickets to state

The Eau Claire Regis football team is headed to the WIAA state championships in Madison after the Rambers beat Edgar 21-0 in their Division 6, Level 4 game. While in Division 4, Somerset is headed back to state after their 33-8 win over Black River Falls.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Speedy, Jordan Millis leads undefeated Tigers

The Black River Falls football team finished a dismal 1-8 last season. This year, they're a perfect 11-0 heading into the Division 4 state semifinals against Somerset Friday night at Carson Park. The Tigers success this season, thanks in large part to this week's Gordy's Athlete of the Week, Jordan Millis.
