Posted: 11/02/2013 - Saturday was busy day of prep action. Starting at State Cross Country, where the best runners tried to end the season on a high note. Then on the prep football gridiron, Hudson topped Preble to move onto level 3. We then hit the volleyball court, where Regis and Altoona advanced to state. Posted: 11/01/2013 - A great night of level two WIAA football! Our featured game was a battle between Stanley-Boyd and Fall Creek, with the Orioles capturing a hard fought 28-21 win. Posted: 10/31/2013 - On this Halloween night, we hit the volleyball court for sectional semifinal action. In Division 1, Chippewa Falls is one step closer to their first trip to state after defeating Merrill, while Eau Claire Norths season ended at the hands of Wausau East. In Division 2, Altoona continues on after defeating Tomahawk. Regis and Cameron move on and will meet in the sectional final on Saturday. Posted: 10/26/2013 - A busy day of high school action. In playoff soccer, Barron kept their Cinderella story going as they defeated Pacelli to head to the programs 1st state tournament. Eau Claire Memorial's season came to an end with a 1-0 loss to Green Bay Preble. On the gridiron, Pepin/Alma and Prescott were victorious. Updated: 10/18/2013 - A busy Thursday on SportScene 13! Start on the soccer pitch, where Eau Claire Memorial defeated North 1-0 to win the regional title, while Barron upset McDonell/Regis with a goal in overtime and finally Chippewa Falls held off Hudson with a 1-0 victory. On the football field, Eau Claire Memorial stayed playoff eligible with a 33-25 victory over North.
