Updated: 04/28/2009 - The Altoona baseball team improved to 7-0 this season with a 13-3 win over Western Cloverbelt rival Stanley-Boyd Tuesday afternoon. Also, the Eau Claire Regis baseball team picked up a conference win with a 9-8 victory over Cadott. In prep softball, Altoona blanked Stanley-Boyd 5-0, while Eau Claire Regis swept a doubleheader with Cadott by scores of 6-3 and 4-0 (Click here for local scores).

Updated: 04/27/2009 - The Eau Claire Memorial baseball team ran its winning streak to four games with a doubleheader sweep of Big Rivers Conference opponent Menomonie. The Huskies scored a 4-0 win over Superior, but lost, 3-1, to La Crosse Central. Fellow Big Rivers Conference member Chippewa Falls swept both of its games Saturday, defeating Superior, 3-0, and La Crosse Central, 5-0.
