Eau Claire North's Abbey Long hit two home runs and threw a no-hitter in a doubleheader against Menomonie last week, making the Huskies senior the centerpiece of our Gordy's Athlete of the Week.

Paul Kling resigns as Eau Claire Memorial head football coach

Updated: 04/13/2016 - On Wednesday, Eau Claire Memorial announced head football coach, Paul Kling has resigned after eight years leading the Old Abes. Kling led the Old Abes to the WIAA playoffs in six of those eight years, including a school best Level 3 finish in the Division 1 playoffs this past season. Overall, Kling compiled a record of 38 wins and 41 losses and a 29-27 record in Big Rivers Conference play, including a Co-Conference Championship in 2011.
