A teenager is reunited with his parents after he disappeared while kayaking Monday night.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department says the 16 year old left in a kayak from Glen Park in River Falls and was going to go out on the Kinnickinnic River. His father says the teen was supposed to call him when he got off the river, but the father never got that call.

Crews searched the area throughout the night. Just before three this morning, they found the 16 year old along the river. He was not hurt.
