(WEAU)-A burning ban is now lifted in Chippewa County.
The DNR placed Chippewa County in the "low" portion of the fire index on Wednesday morning. As a result, the burning ban has been lifted. With the cooler temperatures and rainfall received on Wednesday, conditions have improved.
