Wednesday the deadline for some hunting season permits

(WEAU) - Wednesday is the deadline for hunters to apply for permits for multiple hunting seasons.

The applications are for the fall turkey, sharp-tailed grouse, bobcat, fisher and otter seasons as well as for Canadian geese in the Horicon zone.

Any fall turkey permits remaining after the deadline will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 25.

The leftover permits will be sold by zone until sold out or the season ends.
