In this week's Racing Weekly, we hear from the top drivers in the chase, Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson as they get ready to head to one of the toughest tracks on the circuit, Talladega.
Keselowski wasn't supposed to win at Dover last week where his career average finish in five previous starts was 17th, but he did. Keselowski wasn't supposed to be leading the series standings three races into the chase, but he holds a five-point lead over the 5-time champion, Johnson..
Now, it's on to the always unpredictable track at Talladega.
Nascar Sprint cup points leader Brad Keselowski says, "Well my game plan at Talladega is to run well and hopefully have a shot at winning the race like we did last year, but we'll have to see how that plays out , it's its own animal and it's been a very good track for us, but there's no guarantee of success at Talladega no matter who you are."
Jimmie Johnson, second in the points standings says, "It's the same as every year, survive and get as many points as you can. Talladega, so much goes on there and so much can happen. We have overheating issues to worry about, have to protect the engine on top of the danger in racing and getting taken out and something so it's a very stressful weekend."
