The drivers of the Sprint Cup will be back in action this weekend after having the Easter weekend off.. It will be a Saturday night race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Eau Claire native Paul Menard will be looking to rebound from two sub-par performances. After 3 top tens in the first 4 races. Menard has finished 19th and 26th repectively at California and Martinsville..
Last year texas was a good track for Wisconsin drivers..as Matt Kenseth won the spring race and Menard finished 5th.Tonight on racing weekly..Menard tells us what he expects from Texas.
I think it is the fastest track that we go to right now, as far as qualifying speed. I think the pole last year was a round 195 mph . Fast track, it's one of the those tracks that opens up the pace, then the tires fall off, then the pace slows down and then the track widens out a lot, we can run top or bottom or everywhere in between, it's been a good track for us, it's one I am looking forward to.
