The Flambeau girls basketball team has that championship feeling once again, as the Falcons beat St. Mary Central 61-36 Saturday afternoon in Madison to win the school third-straight Division 4 WIAA Girls State Basketball championship.

The Falcons were led by senior forward Lindsey Brost, who scored 17 points, and grabbed eight rebounds and four steals. Fellow senior Susan Bischoff added 15 points and eight rebounds of her own, as Flambeau joins Milwaukee Washington and Cuba City as the only schools in WIAA history to win three straight girls basketball state titles.
