Brewers ace Ben Sheets struck out eight in a five-hit shutout and Milwaukee finished off a sweep of the visiting San Francisco Giants with a 7-0 victory.

It's Sheets' first shutout in nearly seven years and just the second of his career.

Ryan Braun fell a triple short of the cycle, going 3-for-5 with three RBIs and Gabe Kapler homered for the second time in as many days as the Brewers scored in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings off Giants left-hander Barry Zito (ZEE'-toh).

The 2002 AL Cy Young winner has never gotten on track since signing a 126-million-dollar, seven-year contract with the Giants before last season. He's 0-and-2 this year.
