Raji is the Senior Director at WEAU and has deep roots in the Chippewa Valley. He was born in Eau Claire and raised in Hallie, just outside Chippewa Falls.
Raji graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School where he was a producer for the school's public access television program "Chi-Hi Happenings". Following graduation, he went on to produce a sketch comedy program on Community Television titled, "Chaps" and also served as a Percussion Instructor for the Marching Cardinals for eight seasons.
In 2000, Raji accepted the position of Production Assistant at WEAU and worked every production position before becoming the Senior Director. Raji is currently the "hands" behind WEAU 13 News at Six and Ten.
"I feel extremely lucky to have a job that I love," he says. "I doubt I could ever find a better group of colleagues... it really feels like a family here".
You can sometimes find Raji busting out a karaoke tune, rehearsing with his band, playing online games or enjoying time with friends and family.
