Jason is the Director / Technical Director for WEAU 13 News at Five and Fox News at Nine.
A Twin Cities native, Jason grew up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. He earned a B.A. in Journalism and Film studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2007.
Jason has been with WEAU 13 since 2004 working behind-the-scenes to bring you the news of the day.
“It’s amazing the teamwork that goes into getting the news on the air,” Jason says. “Putting on several live television productions every night can be hectic, but it’s worth it to know that we provide a great service to so many people all over western Wisconsin.”
When he’s not in the control room Jason enjoys grilling out, watching classic movies, a good cup of coffee and hanging around the house with his cat Crunch…though, not necessarily all at the same time.
