Andrew returned to NewsCenter 13 in May of 2007 after splitting time reporting and producing at WBAY-TV in Green Bay. In July, he became Co-Anchor of NewsCenter 13 Sunrise, and Anchor of NewsCenter 13 at Noon.
Andrew attended UW-Eau Claire for two years, and his first reporting experience was a story on Women's Volleyball that appeared in the campus newspaper, The Spectator. After returning home to the Milwaukee area, he was picked to be a guest DJ at WKLH-FM. The experience inspired him to enter UW-Milwaukee's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During the summers to follow, Andrew interned at WUWM-FM, WTMJ-TV, and WTMJ-AM.
After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Andrew started his career in TV news as a Photojournalist at WSAW-TV in Wausau. In September of 2001, he landed his first Reporter job. He later co-anchored a two-and-a-half hour morning newscast, anchored at noon, on the weekends, and worked in the sports department at various times during the next two years.
NewsCenter 13 came calling in May of 2004, and Andrew held the position of Weekend Anchor/Reporter for more than two years before leaving for Green Bay in October of 2006. Andrew frequently lends a hand to the Special Olympics, and enjoys reading to students on Read Across America Day. In his spare time, he enjoys bowling, golf, and reading a good book.
