Andrew is the Assistant News Director at WEAU 13 News. You'll also see him reporting on evening newscasts and filling in as an Anchor for WEAU 13 News. He has also been Sunrise and Noon Anchor and Weekend Anchor/Reporter during his time at WEAU 13.
Andrew attended UW-Eau Claire for two years. His first reporting experience resulted in a story on women's volleyball that appeared in the campus newspaper, The Spectator. After returning home to the Milwaukee area, he entered UW-Milwaukee's Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. During the summers to follow, Andrew interned at WUWM-FM, WTMJ-TV, and WTMJ-AM.
After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Andrew started his career in TV news as a Photojournalist in May, 2001 at WSAW-TV in Wausau. He started reporting four months later, and held several positions as an Anchor and Reporter in both news and sports at various times during the years to follow.
WEAU 13 News came calling in May of 2004, and Andrew held the position of Weekend Anchor/Reporter for more than two years. He then spent seven months as Reporter/Producer at WBAY-TV in Green Bay before returning to WEAU 13 News in May, 2007.
Andrew frequently lends a hand to the Indianhead Area Special Olympics. He also enjoys reading to students on Read Across America Day. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, bowling, golf, and reading a good book.
