Dr. Alicia Arnold is the medical correspondent for WEAU 13 News. Dr. Arnold, a board certified physician, discusses medical topics affecting our community in the Health Beat segment of the Monday Sunrise show.
Dr. Arnold completed her undergraduate studies and medical school at the University of Michigan. While in medical school, she was awarded the Frank E. Robbins Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Professional Development in Medicine.
She completed her internship in Chicago and then moved to Boston for residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a major teaching institution of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Arnold has worked as a radiologist with Medical X-Ray Consultants, based in Eau Claire. Her clinical interests include women’s imaging and cancer screening.
While Dr. Arnold enjoyed her years in Boston, she and her husband decided to return to their Midwest roots and move to Eau Claire. They have called this community home for over two years and look forward to many more years in the Chippewa Valley. They enjoy the numerous child-friendly activities in the area with their young son. Dr. Arnold appreciates the warm welcome she and her family have received here in Eau Claire and is proud to work with WEAU 13 News to make a difference in the community.
