Megan Lowry joined the WEAU News Team as an Anchor/ Reporter in May of 2012.
She comes to Eau Claire from Bismarck, North Dakota where she was a reporter and fill-in anchor for two years. While in North Dakota Megan covered a variety of topics from the booming oil development to massive flooding in the summer of 2011.
But working in Eau Claire is nothing new for Megan. She is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and during college worked here as a production assistant.
Megan also interned at KSTP in the Twin Cities and spent a semester interning for the U.S State Department in New York City. Her most memorable moment was listening to the King of Saudi Arabia address the General Assembly on religious tolerance. She was born and raised in Burnsville Minnesota but has always had a special place in her heart for Wisconsin. Her dad grew up in Eau Claire and much of her family still lives in Wisconsin.
When Megan's not at work you'll probably find her spending time with friends and family, shopping or at a sporting event.
