Lindsay anchors the WEAU’s Hello Wisconsin newscast alongside Courtney Everett and Monica Ott. The Emmy-nominated journalist, considers herself a morning person and is looking forward to helping you wake up with a smile each day.
This is Lindsay’s second time working at WEAU. She started her journalism career as a reporter here and is excited to return to the Chippewa Valley with her family.
Lindsay comes to WEAU from Madison, where she anchored the award-winning “Wake Up Wisconsin” morning show. She has also anchored and reported in Green Bay and Lansing, Michigan.
After working in two capital cities, Lindsay has a passion for political news and stories that inspire change. She reported extensively on Wisconsin’s collective bargaining battle and Michigan's controversial passage of right-to-work. Her investigative report on the failures of some for-profit colleges, called attention to and helped lead to the elimination of a Wisconsin budget proposal that would have removed nearly all oversight of those schools. Some of her most memorable interviews include Packers legend Bart Starr, Olympic gymnast Jordyn Wieber and “Miracle on the Hudson” pilot Sully Sullenberger.
Lindsay grew up in Appleton and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was a Badger cheerleader during college and is still a huge fan, so you can expect her in red and white on game day.
When she’s not working, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and their pet cat, Bela. She also loves giant cups of coffee and is an avid runner.
