Chris is an anchor and also serves as NewsCenter 13’s Managing Editor. He comes to WEAU from Springfield, Missouri, where he spent six years as a reporter and weekend anchor at the CBS and Fox affiliate.
Chris is an award-winning reporter with several accolades from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the Missouri Broadcasters Association.
Before living in Springfield, he was a reporter at the NBC station in Wichita Falls, Texas, and after college, worked at WDAF, the Fox station in Kansas City, Missouri. Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in public relations from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
When he’s not anchoring newscasts or helping direct day-to-day operations, Chris enjoys waterfowl hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife. In fact, Chris liked his co-anchor in Missouri so much, he married her. She also works at WEAU.
His wife is NewsCenter 13's 10pm anchor Sarah Stokes.
