Chris Herzog
Chris brings his decade-plus of experience to WEAU 13 News as the 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Anchor and as Managing Editor. He's also the anchor and producer for Fox News at 9, a role he first served in in 2006.
Chris is an award-winning reporter with several accolades from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and the Missouri Broadcasters Association.
He comes to WEAU 13 from Springfield, Missouri, where he spent six years as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor at the CBS and Fox affiliate.
Before living in Springfield, he was a Reporter at the NBC station in Wichita Falls, Texas, and after college, worked at WDAF, the Fox station in Kansas City, Missouri.
Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in public relations from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
When he’s not anchoring newscasts or helping direct day-to-day operations, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, flying airplanes as a licensed private pilot, and spending time with his wife. Chris gets to spend lots of time with her, since they now share the news desk at 6 and 10 p.m. every night. She is WEAU 13's Sarah Stokes.
Chris and Sarah have a little boy and little girl, Kanyon and Kaydence, who arrived in 2010 and 2012.
