Chris began his career at WEAU in the summer of 2007 as a sports photographer. After two years on the sidelines of Western Wisconsin Chris got moved up to co-anchor the weekend news casts and report three days a week. He loves every minute of it, but he does miss going to all of the games, so don't be surprised if you see him in the stands, or on the sidelines once and a while.
Chris grew up in Kenosha, WI, attending Tremper High School. After graduating in 2004 Chris moved north and was accepted to UW-Eau Claire where he studied broadcast journalism.
When he isn't working on a news story, Chris enjoys tossing the football around, skiing, playing a few video games, making music and of course spending time with friends and family. Speaking of family meteorologist Ashley Baylor and Chris are not related, it’s just a coincidence.
