Mary works Monday through Friday as a night-side reporter for NewsCenter 13. She also enjoys helping Sarah Stokes with WEAU’s newest show, Wisconsin Journal.
An eastern Wisconsin native, Mary packed up and moved to Eau Claire in October 2005 to start her career at NewsCenter 13. She spent a year producing Sunrise and Today before hitting the streets as the station’s “city reporter.”
Prior to coming to WEAU, Mary studied broadcast and print journalism at UW-Milwaukee. She graduated in 2004 with a journalism major and a business minor. Mary also spent a semester interning at the Fox station in Milwaukee, working with the investigative team.
Mary loves covering all sorts of stories and looks forward to meeting someone new and learning something new every day.
On the weekends, chances are you’ll catch her outside. Mary loves reading, running, barbeques, and exploring this side of the state.
If she’s not in Eau Claire, Mary’s probably back home hanging out with her parents and eight younger brothers and sisters.
