Jenn Chapman joined the WEAU Sports Team in January 2012 as a Sports Anchor/Reporter and looks forward to covering a varitey of sports in Wisconsin.
Jenn grew up in Centreville, Virginia playing multiple sports, Techmo Bowl on Nintendo, and aspiring to be the next Katie Couric.
Most recently Jenn has been a part of the Revolution 3 Triathlon Broadcasting Team, covering national and international triathlons on both the professional and amateur levels. This year Rev3 adds a race in August at the Wisconsin Dells!
Jenn earned her Master’s Degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University while serving as the reporter for CMU's Athletic Department. Jenn produced an award winning documentary about the CMU wrestling program in 2009. She even took on the challenge of weight cutting with the team, complete with a video blog of the weight cuts and ending with a wrestling match against a high schooler (This was not a good idea!)
Jenn received her bachelors degree from James Madison University where she was captain of the Division 1 Cross Country and Track and Field Team. She interned at WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg. Jenn now competes in marathons and triathlons. She loves coaching youth sports and was the head coach of the Sully Station Swim Team for 7 years. GO SSTs!
Jenn is proud to have brought her family into the double digits, that's right, she's the 10th of 14 children to her parents Ralph and Janet, but her greatest honor is being the undisputed favorite Aunt to her 21 nieces and nephews.
