Bob Gallaher

Bob Gallaher came to WEAU 13 News in September 1994 as the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. Bob took over Sports Director duties in February 1998, and has held that role ever since.

Prior to coming to Eau Claire, Bob worked at WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee as a News Editor on two different occasions, from 1990-1992 and from 1993-1994. Bob also worked at WJFW-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin as a News Reporter from September 1992 until May 1993.

Bob grew up in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He attended Benet Academy High School in Lisle. Bob also attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, graduating with a Broadcast Journalism degree in May 1990.

Bob is an avid Chicago Cubs and Marquette basketball fan, and during his free time, likes to play golf, and spend time with his family.

Bob and his wife Colleen, an elementary school teacher in the Eau Claire School District, reside in Eau Claire.
