Hello Western Wisconsin and the Chippewa Valley! Having grown up in New England, I’m happy to be in a part of the country that reminds me of home and the beautiful outdoors, with plenty of lakes, hills and forests. My meteorology and forecasting background spans fourteen years and includes both the media and private sector. I come to you from Lima, Ohio where I was chief meteorologist at the only station in the market. It was a great place to develop and fine-tune my on-air skills, where I dealt with everything from blizzards and ice storms to floods and tornadoes.. all things the Chippewa Valley can, and has experienced.
I received my B.S. in Atmospheric Science from Central Connecticut State University, along with a certificate in broadcasting from the Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting. I am a member of the American Meteorological Society and earned their certified broadcast meteorologist designation in 2009.
Outside of my professional life, I stay pretty busy, having a wife and two children who are growing up faster than I can keep track. This of course leaves little spare time, but being a die-hard Red Sox and Patriots fan, I look forward to getting to Minneapolis and Green Bay for a game or two. I also enjoy watching professional tennis, and though I’m far from it, I love to play, and hope to get some practice and match time in throughout the year.
In addition to meeting new people, I look forward to getting to know the area and local culture in time, and really experience what Western Wisconsin has to offer.
