Fairchild (WEAU) - The new WEAU Transmission tower now stands at 1612 feet.

Only a couple hundred feet was added in the last week due to high winds near the top of the tower.

Still, tower sections are being built on the ground and once winds die down, more sections will be lifted into place.

Whether the tower is done on time now focuses on the weather.

It is still anticipated work will be completed by the end of November.
