WEAU's transmission tower reached 1342 feet on Thursday.

    I sure wish that there was more video on how the pieces are raised up and set into position. I look every night to see something on the news, which would be perfect for an daily update, to monitor the progress.

    back in the 60's when the first tower was built,workers were known to bring a manikin up the tower... when a car would be seen heading towards the tower, the manikin was dropped... in this day and age, not too likely a return performance would occure.
