Fairchild (WEAU) - Winds are slowing the progression upward of the new WEAU transmission tower in Fairchild.
The past few days have been windy on the ground and even stronger winds at the top of the tower, which now stands at 1492 feet.
But crews are working on the ground and have connected another guy wire.
An antenna has been unloaded and a lot of wiring going on inside the transmission building.
Crews are still targeting a completion time period of late November.
