This Sunday the Chippewa Valley area has a chance for a typical March type storm. March storms are known to bring rain and wet snow to the area. With many places reporting anywhere from 12 to over 20 inches of snow on the ground, rain may not be the best precipitation to fall. The storm right now looks to be rather weak, so rain totals look to be rather small. Once the storm system moves off to the east, colder air will change the rain over the wet snow. Snowfall totals will be rather small as well. This next storm system does have the potential becoming stronger as it moves closer. Will March come in like a lion and out like a lamb? Only time will tell. Have a great and safe weekend.
