I am part of a local effort to connect parents, educators, and community members for the benefit of our children and their education. This effort is comprised of many parents and community members who recognize the importance of working together with schools and community to help all children learn and grow. Through this effort a local teacher has connected and has gone above and beyond her role as a classroom teacher. She is teaching and helping families. Her name is Jerrilyn O’Brien, a kindergarten teacher at Hillcrest Elementary School in Chippewa Falls.

Mrs. O’Brien deserves to be recognized for the hours she spends helping parents help their children learn and grow. She has spent countless hours in meetings with parents, sharing her 30 plus years of knowledge and experience with us. We, as a group of parents, cannot thank Mrs. O’Brien enough for the positive impact she has on our children and beyond, which includes their parents!! Thank you, Mrs. O’Brien, for all you do to help children and families learn and grow! We appreciate you!!
