The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eau Claire County’s Meals on Wheels Program would like to nominate Ruth Hanson for a Sunshine Award.

Ruth recently retired after 21 years of volunteer service with the Meals on Wheels Program. She delivered countless meals, well being checks, and smiles to homebound people. She also coordinated the First Baptist Church team that delivers Meals on Wheels in Augusta for many years. Ruth is a wonderful example of how one person can make a difference in their community and in the lives they touch. The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eau Claire County staff wants to thank Ruth Hanson with a Sunshine Award for her outstanding volunteerism and community spirit.
