Security Systems protect your family and property from intruders and burglars. They can be set to set off an alarm and/or notify the authorities automatically during a break-in. They use digital control panels and use a combination of motion, heat and door sensors to monitor your area.
Security Cameras can record what’s happening at your home at any time. Security cameras provide you visual coverage of events going on while no one is at home or can be used to monitor parts of your house when people are there. For example, if you’re throwing a party you could use the security cameras to monitor your guests or if your leaving your kids at home by themselves you can use the cameras to see what there’re up too. They use a digital video recorder style system either stand-alone or on your computer. You can record multiple cameras and archive that information to view later. In some cases, you can burn the questionable video clips to a CD/DVD disk to show the authorities. The cameras can be set to motion record to save space and some cameras are designed for the outdoors.
Protection Systems can be integrated with a security system. They are used to monitor and protect your home and family from fire, gas leaks, and medical alerts. A Protection system chains all the detectors and alarms together so if one location is in smoke or gas all the alarms go off. These systems can also be set-up to automatically notify the 9-11 call centers to dispatch police and fire rescue.
All three of these systems can be integrated to work together. They can be installed into your home or business leaving only the sensors and alarms exposed and the remaining pieces hidden. They can be armed or disarmed using a control panel.
