Weather Art & Science Day with Local Author Karen Wise

Santa's Arrival

Santa Claus is coming to town! It is always a surprise to see how Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in Chippewa Falls. Kids can sip on hot chocolate while enjoying the anticipation of Santa's arrival. All children will receive a special ornament made by Santa's elves and the residents of Chippewa Manor Nursing Home. After his arrival, visit with Santa at his house across the street. Santa's House is open from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. every Saturday after his arrival until Christmas.

Get Fired Up For Safety

N Central Ave 1600 block
17 Fire Depts. participate starting with a parade of a variety of fire equipment from the Fairgrounds traveling north on Central Ave to the 1600 block. They set up their equipment from engines, off road, water rescue, drop tanks etc. The main purpose is fire safety in the home. There is a youth challenge. Demos are stove top, fire extinguisher, stop drop & roll, & seatbelt roll over convincer. Children can bring their teddy bears to have the bears parachute from Marshfield's ariel ladder.

Join us as we encounter magical elements such as the Sorting Hat, magic wand, and Marauder's Map and even play a round of Muggle Quidditch! You will also have the opportunity to take a slew of Hogwarts classes. All participants must be pre-registered by Wednesday, October 8th in order to attend. Parents are welcome to drop the kids off for an afternoon of fun or register themselves and join on in!

Spooky Stacker Stomp

Join the Cornell Area Betterment Association as they kick off the first annual Spooky Stacker Stomp on October 11, registration starts at 8am and walk begins at 10am, with a 100 meter kids dash at 9am. The spooky Stacker Stomp is a fun non-timed, interactive run/walk. Get on your Halloween garb, and run or walk your way through the fall foliage in beautiful Brunet Island State Park.
