Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 South High Street Chippewa Falls, WI 54729
Hiroya Tsukamoto is a one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist, and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He brings a mixture of folk, jazz, and world music to Chippewa Falls. This is a concert of subtlety, of quiet reflection, of understated musical elegance. Get away from the rat race for a few hours and lose yourself in the splendor of this accomplished solo artist. Hiroya has made several appearances at Blue Note in New York, and he has performed with Esperanza Spalding, Marta Gomez, Kendrick Scott (The Crusadors), Pete Kennedy (The Kennedys), and Dave Maxwell (Muddy Waters Band).
