Students from the History 380, "Museums in the United States" course this fall will be having a Grand Opening Event to celebrate the university's centennial coming up in 2016. The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside of the entrance of McIntyre Library in the glass display cases. The exhibit will focus on how student experience shaped the university as it is today. The exhibit is open to the public and will be available for viewing until late December 2013. During the Grand Opening, students in the History 380 course will be available to answer any questions. Refreshments will be served. Prizes donated by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation will be available to win via answering a question posted on our History 380 Twitter Account Page. The URL is located at https://twitter.com/Hist380UWEC. When the exhibit is open, there will be a question posted on Twitter pertaining to objects displayed within the case.
