Residence Halls Trick or Treating
UW-Eau Claire Residence Halls
Residence halls at UW-Eau Claire will host free Halloween activities for area children in celebration of the holiday.
Towers, Chancellors, Oak Ridge, Bridgman, Murray, Sutherland and Governors residence halls will be open for door-to-door trick-or-treating from 5-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31. Students offering candy will have orange door decorations to indicate that trick-or-treaters are welcome.
Lobby-only trick-or-treating will be offered in Putnam Hall on lower campus.
Parking is available in the metered areas on campus — after 4:30 p.m. in the Murray, McPhee and most of the Governors lots — and after 5 p.m. in lots P8 and P9 at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
The Halloween activities are hosted by Housing and Residence Life and Oak Ridge Hall.

A Night at the Haunted Hall

The Bohemian Hall, Cadott, WI
The Bohemian Hall Amateur Theatre, which is comprised of high school and college aged students, will be transforming the historic Bohemian Hall in Cadott into a haunted house for their 4th annual "A Night at the Haunted Hall" event. Children will be guided through a tour of the haunted hall, which will feature guest appearances by spooky ghosts, mummies and monsters.
There will also be games, face painting, fortune telling, snacks and trick or treating. Children are encouraged to come in costume, as there will be a costume contest.
Children preschool age through sixth grade are welcome!
This event is free, with free will donations being accepted.
The Bohemian Hall is located at the intersection of Hwy 27 & 135th Avenue.

Has your child outgrown his or her Halloween costume but it still looks like new? The library is accepting gently used Halloween costumes Oct. 1st – 25th. When you drop off your child’s costume you will receive a ticket. The costume swap will take place Saturday, Oct. 26th from 1 – 3 p.m. Those with tickets may shop from 1 -3 p.m. If you don’t have a costume to swap, but would still like to purchase a gently used costume you may do so from 2 – 3 p.m. Non-ticket holders are asked to give a free will donation to the library in exchange for a costume. We are also accepting costumes from those individuals who want to donate to the event and not receive a costume in exchange.
