Volunteer Informational Session – Come learn more about Big Brothers Big Sisters and what it means to be a ‘Big’ in the life of a child.

Volunteers spend an average of 1 hour per week with a child having fun. Being a ‘Big’ is about simply being a friend to a child. Volunteers and children can participate in many activities that both enjoy, some include: sharing a meal, telling stories, playing catch, baking cookies, playing a board game or video game, planting flowers, going to a ball game, and many more!

Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Day is a national day of service. Participate with us in service projects that better the community in places such as Hope Gospel Mission, Irvin Park, and Beaver Creek. Hands on Eau Claire - Boulevard Clean Up

Eau Claire Parks, Recreation & Forestry has planned the first ever HANDS ON EAU CLAIRE – BOULEVARD CLEAN UP! What better way to kick off spring than spending a few hours outdoors beautifying our city! Grab your families, friends, co-workers and service groups and bring them out to Clairemont Avenue & Hastings Way to pick up and prepare the boulevards for Spring and Summer! After the clean up, join us for a volunteer recognition where there will be a light lunch and prizes!

Downtown Earth Day Cleanup

Join Chippewa Falls Main Street as we clean up our downtown. We pick up trash all the way from the riverfront to Cedar Street, so we need all the help we can get! All supplies will be provided and volunteers receive a free t-shirt. Central Lutheran Church will providine a free breakfast from 7-9 a.m. at 28 E. Columbia St. Cleanup registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Mentors in Motion Kick-off Event

Mentors in Motion is a Community-Based mentoring program in which Bigs and Littles participate in fun and recreational activities that lead to a more active and healthier lifestyle.

Bigs and Littles meet for an average of 1 hour per week and participate in a variety of activities that both the Big and the Little are interested in. Big Brothers Big Sisters partners with area businesses and organizations to host activities for the matches, such as ice fishing, tennis lessons, fitness classes, bowling, and more! There will be 2-3 planned activities each month that Bigs and Littles can choose to participate in or they can choose to do other activities on their own.

YMCA Support the Troops
