Save 2nd Base Coed Softball Tournament and Car Show for Breast Cancer Awareness


Sparta Memorial Park, Sparta, WI
Starts Friday 5pm with Opening Ceremony, first pitch thrown by Miss Sparta girls, and Home Run Derby following last game of the night.
Saturday games start 8 am and Car, Truck, and Bike show registration from 10 am to 12 pm with trophies presented at 3:15 pm, Kids Car,Truck and Bike show following Kids Parade Downtown at 12 pm with trophies presented at 3 pm.
Kids Events all day, Face Painting, Raffles, Music, Food available each day. Duck Races Adult and Kids following drawings on Sunday.

A Day at Hogwarts


Eau Claire YMCA, 700 Graham Avenue, Eau Claire, WI
Muggles everywhere are invited to join us as we explore the wizard world of Harry Potter! Join us as we encounter magical elements such as the Sorting Hat, magic wand, and Marauder's Map and even play a round of Muggle Quidditch! You will also have the opportunity to take a slew of Hogwarts classes. All participants must be pre-registered by Wednesday, October 8th in order to attend. Parents are welcome to drop the kids off for an afternoon of fun or register themselves and join on in!

The 13th Annual Indianhead Model Train Show will be held Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center, 3456 Craig Road, Eau Claire. Doors open at 10 am each day. Whether you are an old hand at all things trains or haven’t a clue about the difference between HO and N scale this show is sure to have something that will peak your interest. For the younger set, a GEOTrax hands-on experience. Vendors will be on hand selling trains and memorabilia. Adults $5.00, Children $3.00, Children 5 & under free, Family (2 adults + 2 children) $15.00.
