Auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

7:00 PM

The Grand Theatre, 102 W Grand Ave, Eau Claire
Auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be held at 7p.m., October 13 & 14 at The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild, 102 W. Grand Avenue, Eau Claire. Adapted from the best-selling book, this delightful comedy has parts of all sizes for 10 adults and 17 children, ages 7 and up. In fact, it is a wonderful show for families to be involved with together!

In this hilarious holiday classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

Rehearsals begin October 20th with performances December 5-7 & 12-14 at The Grand Theatre. For more information, or to volunteer behind the scenes, please call CVTG at 715-832-7529 or email cvtgact@aol.com.

The Lady With All the Answers

7 pm

Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 South High Street, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729
This one-woman show provides a compelling portrait of this folksy, funny, frank, and slightly eccentric writer and personality. Eppie Lederer was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and for several years was a happy mid-western housewife. When her family moved to Chicago, she applied for a job to assist the woman writing the syndicated "Ann Landers" advice column for the Chicago Sun-Times. But the woman had just died and Eppie was hired to write the column--and she also inherited the Ann Landers pen-name. At the height of her popularity, Ann Landers was read by some 90 million people. Her daily dialog with America helped shape the social landscape for almost half a century. Website: answerladyontour.com Admission: $16 Adults, $15 Seniors, $10 Youth
