UNITED FEDERATION OF SWING MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE FUNDRAISING EVENT: Come out and show your support in sending Memorial High School senior band students Lucas Larson (trumpet), Basil Hable (trombone), and director Eric Dasher to this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in NYC! Music provided by United Federation of Swing (featuring Larson and Hable) and special guests from the MHS Jazz program. Pizza Plus is generously donating 10% of all sales from 7 to 9 for this fundraising effort. Lets show these students that the Eau Claire community supports this honorable selection into the Macy's Great American Band and bring the whole family out for an evening of delicious food and excellent music!

The festival, in its 15th year, features author readings, book signings, school visits, dinners with authors, and programs for young and adult writers. Enjoy a Harvest Meal of Harvest Chili or Cabbage Hot Dish, along with rolls and bars for desert. A free-will offering is requested to help the Chetek Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus raise money for college scholarships and Christmas baskets for the unfortunate in our community.
At Christmas time, the Auxiliary puts together baskets with all the makings for Christmas dinners and gives the baskets to individuals and families who might otherwise not have a Christmas meal. The Harvest Meal is our major fund raiser for this event.
