ECCT Presents: "Blue's Clues Live: The Most Spectacular Place"

The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre will present BLUE’S CLUES LIVE! THE MOST SPECTACULAR PLACE November 1-2 and 8-10 at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.
Based on the hit Nickelodeon television program, the show begins when Curtain welcomes everyone into the wonderful world of Theatre. On stage, Steve and Blue lead the audience on a clue-filled journey through Storybook Forest and Outer Space in their quest to discover the most spectacular place of all.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, November 1 and 8, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 2 and 9, at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 10, at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $12 for adults/seniors and $8 for youth/students.
Theatre-goers can add to their experience by attending “Blue’s Spectacular Party” on Saturday, November 2 and 9, at 10 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. Those attending are invited to play games and do activities with Steve before the show. Tickets are $5.00 per person (does not include show tickets) and advance registrations are required.

Concert Choir Fall Performance

The Concert Choir, conducted by Gary R. Schwartzhoff, is one of six ensembles at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Due to the popularity of the choral program at UW-Eau Claire, the campus has been recognized as “Wisconsin’s Singing University.”
Throughout its history, the Concert Choir has worked with many outstanding orchestras including the Minnesota Orchestra, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, The San Diego Symphony Orchestra, as well as, the Philadelphia Brass. The Concert Choir also has traveled many times to perform in Europe and Washington, D.C.
The Concert Choir has released five compact discs to-date, including Sing We Merrily; 2000 European Tour; WMEA Convention; An Amazing Day and Take Up The Song.
Their fall concert will include choral pieces by William Byrd, Felix Mendelsshon, Alexander Gretchaninoff, Benjamin Britton, and many more. The concert will consist of two segments, an intermission, and a performance by a cappella group Impromptu.
