Leaders Club

2:30-4pm

Leaders Club is a national YMCA program which provides club members with opportunities for leadership training, personal growth, service to others, and social development. Leaders will meet every other week with an adult advisor and plan, carry out, and take part in life skills workshops, service learning, volunteer events, academic support, and recreation. This program aims to provide a fun social activity for teens, allowing them to become confident and competent young adults with a sense of belonging in their community.
Meetings: Every other Sunday starting October 5th (program to end in May), 2:30-4pm
Ages: 12-18
Fee: $40 program fee for the entire year!

Young Writers Program

The Eau Claire YMCA is proud to partner with National Novel Writing Month to provide the Young Writers Program, where students will choose their own word count goals and write their own novels! We will study writing techniques and strategies and end up having all written novels of our own.
Sundays, October 5th-November 30th, 4:30-6pm

Sheltered Reality

Founded in 1996, Sheltered Reality (SR) is a nonprofit musical organization whose performing membership spans all ages (currently as young as 4 and as old as 76!!). The majority of the members are youth aged 7 - 18 who believe that Music can have Meaning, yet be a blast at the same time! SR performances use the power of percussion set to music, as well as high energy choreography, to engage and then motivate audiences to realize that any person, at any age in life, can dream and succeed.
Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Chippewa Falls.
Admission: FREE BUT TICKETS ARE REQUIRED (limit six tickets per person – groups must contact the office in advance)
