Dog Sledding and Snowshoeing at the Henke Farm
1:00 - 3:00 pm
Beaver Creek Reserve, Wise Nature Center, S1 Cty Road K, Fall Creek, WI 54742
There is something magical about watching a string of dogs as they lunge and pull on their ropes while barking, yipping and yowling. Their one passion in life is to run a wintery trail and share that moment with you. Come out to our satellite property, the Henke Farm and join a group of fellow snow/dog loving enthusiasts. You can stay warm by the fire sipping a cup of hot chocolate and soup, or take a hike on snowshoes as you wait for a turn on the three-person dogsled.
Howard Thompson, our guide, has a sled that he will drive; two additional riders can choose to sit or stand. Bring your kids or grandkids to share a special winter moment or surprise your special someone with a post-Valentine's Day activity. We'll caravan from the Nature Center to the Henke Farm.
