ECCT Presents: "Flat Stanley"
The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54703
The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre will present THE MUSICAL ADVENTURES OF FLAT STANLEY, JR. March 7-8 and March 14-16, at The Oxford, 1814 Oxford Avenue.
In this fun musical Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday, run of the-mill ten-year-old: normal mom and dad, normal little brother, normal life. That, however, is just the problem for Stanley, life is just too normal. He wants to travel the world, do something amazing, something no one’s ever seen before. Careful what you wish for, Stanley! This production is based on the Flat Stanley series of children’s books by Jeff Brown.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; Friday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; and Sunday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seats are available, $8 for youth/students and $12 for adults/seniors. Tickets may be purchased online at www.ecct.org, by calling 715-839-877, or at the door.
Patrons are invited to add to their experience by attending “Around the World with Flat Stanley” on March 8 and 15 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Attendees will participate in Flat Stanley activities, eat treats, and meet the cast of show. The party takes place one hour before the show and costs $5 per person; this does not include admission to the show. Advance reservations are required and a limited number of seats are available.
The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Jr. is sponsored by WEAU 13 NEWS, Smiles in Motion Pediatric Dentistry, as well as ECCT’s 2013-2014 season sponsor Kristo Orthodontics.
