The 51st Annual EAU CLAIRE FARM SHOW takes the spotlight this Tuesday and Wednesday, March 4th and 5th, at the Indoor Sports Center. Demonstrations of new farm products will be featured from 9 a.m. til 3:30 p.m. daily.
Special events include free health clinics, the presentation of the 25th annual "Aggie Award," an FFA Silent Auction, and the awarding of a grand total of $22,500 to nine area non-profit groups compliments of Monsanto's America's Farmers Grow Communities program.
Licensed falconer Chris Cold of the DNR will present daily programs at 11AM and 1PM on Wisconsin's Wildlife. Check out the comfort and design of a farm bench "for two" created by chainsaw carver Craig Syryczuk of Thorp.

Rubber Ducky Reading Club
Eau Claire YMCA, 700 Graham Avenue, Eau Claire, WI
Join the club! This enrichment opportunity is open to children ages birth to 5 years old during the whole month of March and is designed to promote early literacy. With the help of parents or caregivers, participants will complete worksheets consisting of 12 fun early literacy activities. When all twelve activities are complete, return the activity sheet to the Eau Claire YMCA service desk and choose an adorable little rubber ducky to keep! Keep going and see how many different ducks you can collect!

Wisconsin ArtsWest, an annual juried art exhibit, will open on Sunday, February 23, with an artists reception to be held on Thursday, February 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Best of Show and 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be announced at the reception. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. Selections for this year’s show are made by Elizabeth Tanenbaum, Director of New Visions Gallery in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
