Throw in a donkey that won't shut up and a bad guy with a SHORT temper, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Based on the Dreamworks movie, favorite characters are portrayed live on stage with musical numbers that are sure the be a blast for the whole family!

Performances are scheduled for Wednesday, July 23 – Saturday, July 26, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday July 26 -- Sunday, July 27, at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for seniors, $12 for students, and $8 for youth ages 12 and under.

SHREK is sponsored in part by the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center, Oakwood Mall, and Charter.

Characters from SHREK will also be present at SWAMPFEST 2014, an event on July 19th from 10am-Noon at the Oxford (1814 Oxford Avenue). Participants will have their pictures taken with Shrek and his friends, decorate gingerbread men, play Pin the Tail on the Donkey, eat waffles, and make crowns and Shrek ears! Tickets are $5 per person in advance, and $6 at the door. Tickets may be ordered by calling 715-839-8877, or in person at ECCT.
