Writer's Voice: Summer Series

4:30-6:00pm

Eau Claire YMCA, 700 Graham Avenue, Eau Claire, WI
A pen and paper are the ultimate asset (and weapon!), and we invite you to join us for the Writer's Voice: Summer Series and unleash your creativity! This workshop-type experience is perfect for both the new writer struggling to get their story down on paper and the experienced writer looking to improve their craft. We will explore different styles of writing, common writing "problems" such as writer's block (and how to avoid them!), what makes our favorite books so fun to read, and more. Come into the program with a story ready to get on paper or without a clue what you might want to write about - or somewhere in between! Together, we will transform the ideas in your head into full-on stories that will take on lives of their own!
Tuesdays, June 17-August 5, 4:30-6pm
Ages 9-13 (entering grades 4-8)
Fee: Y Member $45 | Non-Member $60
