The Color Dash 5K
Carson Park, Eau Claire, 54701
Come and participate in your local Color Dash on Saturday September 28th, 2014. This fun, family-friendly event is going to be a big difference maker - it's Eau Claire’s Brightest 5k run/walk. The Color Dash is a fun-filled experience for walkers, runners, and people of all ages, shapes, and sizes! The dash is not timed - it's more about sharing memories, laughing, and getting colored like a bag of Skittles than competing. As participants run, walk (or even crawl) the course, our Dasher-Splasher volunteers will splash them with special colorful dust. Results - a white t-shirted community of do-gooders, turned into a rainbow of colorful faces.
All proceeds from The Color Dash: Eau Claire will go to: Eau Claire’s Children Theatre. The funds raised will be used to expand programming for the young people of Eau Claire’s Children’s Theatre.
Get your family and friends together, or Dash on your own - either way - enjoy the dash, the music, and the color, while YOU help a great cause! We look forward to seeing you there!

GMC Motorhomes International Rally
Starts at 5PM on the 26th, and seminars begin at 9:00AM
Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds, Chippewa Falls WI
GMC motorhomes are "classic" motorhomes as they were only made from 1973-78. They were the first front wheel drive, aluminum body made. We get together twice a year in various locations around the United States. Members come from all over the US, Australia, and Canada. Some coaches are in the original condition as others have been restored. It's a unique opportunity for those who love "classic" cars to see these beautiful motorhomes. I'd love to arrange an on camera interview with someone, if it worked out as well as have a camera crew come to our event and talk with some of our folks.
