The Barron Spotlighters are excited to announce the live theater production of The Diary of Anne Frank. See literature come to life and immerse yourself in a historical, story-telling event as told by Anne Frank herself in the pages of her diary. A living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl, Anne Frank confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with honesty, wit, and determination. In this impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, The Diary of Anne Frank, captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence - their fear, hope, laughter and grief. Hear Anne’s voice shine through this powerful drama, ”When I write I shake off all my cares. But I want to achieve more than that. I want to be useful and bring enjoyment to all people, even those I’ve never met. I want to go on living even after my death.”
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, October 10, Friday, October 11, Saturday, October 12, Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19. All shows are at 7:30 PM.
